SAE code 61 vs code 62 vs caterpillar flange size

SAE J518 4-bolt hydraulic flanges look quite similar to each other, SAE Code 61, SAE Code 62, and Caterpillar 4-bolt flanges, Komatsu flanges, Poclain flange, demag flange showed small dimensional and physical differences.

Installation difference point:

SAE Code 62 (6,000 psi) 4-bolt flange can’t fit an SAE Code 61 (3,000 psi) motor, wrong bolt size position. Otherwise is the same;

4 bolt position difference for sae code 61 and sae code 62 flange.

Thickness of flange head OD is difference.
