The thread sizes on reusable hose fittings vary according to customer requirements and are not standardized. Typically, these fittings use a fine thread, with the two primary types being UNF (Unified National Fine) and Metric fine thread. Eaton frequently utilizes UNF fine threads, which are also widely popular in the USA. In Europe, both Metric fine and UNF threads are commonly used; however, for central lubrication system hoses and fittings, metric threads are the standard choice.
