Right vs Wrong Shape of braze gap for welding joint
Funnel-shaped extensions of braze gaps consume a lot of brazing solder, which after cooling-down is mostly penetrated by gas inclusions which reduce the strength of the brazed joint. Figure 5 shows 7 examples of wrong and right gap shapes.
